1. Introduction and Agreement

Welcome to Heart & Home Princeton Retreat ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, www.heartnhomestay.com, and your rental of our property. By accessing our website or booking a stay, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services or book our property.

2. Booking and Payment Policies

Reservations:

All bookings are subject to availability and our confirmation. The primary guest making the reservation must be at least 25 years of age.

Payment:

A deposit or full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation, as specified during the checkout process. All payments must be made through our authorized payment gateways.

Taxes and Fees:

Quoted rates may be subject to applicable local taxes, cleaning fees, and other surcharges, which will be detailed prior to your final booking confirmation.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made within the specified risk-free window (as detailed on your booking confirmation) will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made outside of this window may be subject to partial or no refund.

We strongly recommend purchasing independent travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances, including travel delays or illness. We are not liable for refunds outside of our stated cancellation policy.

4. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-In:

Standard check-in time is typically in the late afternoon. Detailed access instructions will be provided prior to your arrival.

Check-Out:

Guests must vacate the property by the designated check-out time on the day of departure. Late check-outs must be approved in advance and may incur additional charges.

5. Property Use and House Rules

To ensure a safe and pleasant environment for our guests and neighbors, the following rules apply:

• Maximum Occupancy: The number of guests must not exceed the maximum occupancy stated in your booking.
• Events and Parties: Unauthorized parties, events, or large gatherings are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate eviction without a refund.
• Smoking: Smoking of any kind (including vaping) is strictly prohibited inside the home.
• Pets: Pets are not allowed on the property unless explicit written permission is granted prior to the stay.

6. Damages and Security Deposit

Guests are expected to treat the property with care. You are responsible for any damage to the property, its furnishings, or amenities caused by you or your party. We reserve the right to charge your payment method on file or withhold funds from your security deposit to cover the cost of repairs, replacements, or excessive cleaning required after your departure.

7. Limitation of Liability

Heart & Home Princeton Retreat and its owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. We are also not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
